Product

Check an address before you send.

Verification asks whether an address is shaped like mail, whether the domain accepts mail, and whether a cautious conversation with the mail server accepts the recipient. It does not tell you that a person will open the message.

What a result means

Valid means the checks we could run did not find a reason to suppress the address. Invalid means the address should not be mailed. Risky or unknown means the server did not give a clear answer, which is common when a provider greets every recipient the same way.

Role addresses such as info@ and disposable domains are flagged. A catch-all domain can look acceptable and still hide bad addresses, so those results stay cautious.

What it is not

Verification is not deliverability. A valid address can still land in spam because of the content, the domain's reputation, or the recipient's filters. Read the comparison if you are choosing which problem you actually have.
