A sequence is a later email with a delay. It sends if the earlier step went out and the recipient has not replied. A reply stops the rest.

Limits that stay on the server
Follow-ups use the same mailbox caps and plan limits as the first send. They do not bypass approval, verification, or the daily cap. If the mailbox cannot send, the step fails and is recorded.
